The orders of your customers are sent to you by email. Under file / settings / order side you can fix in which manner this should happen.
Email-Addresse
Put down the email address in which the orders should be sent (f.e..: order@IyourCompany.com). Inquire with your provider whether you may use here arbitrary name (Aliasnamen) or whether you must keep to certain conventions. If your provider allows no Aliasnamen, put down here your generally valid email address.
Sending of Orderform
For the other administration of the on-line orders by email can either the simple MAILTO ORDER or an appropriate CGI mail Script which must be installed on the web server, are used.
we offer pre-installed script on gs-shopbuilder server for the case that, e.g., your provider puts to you no CGI-Scripte for the treatment of on-line forms to disposal to you the possibility to use one CGI-Script pre-installed by us on our server.We take over with it free of charge the email-other administration of the on-line orders to your email address.
Please, pay attention, however that the operator takes over no liability(adhesion) for the effectiveness of this service and that this is only an optionaler service. If you have the possibility, you should use in every case own script.
Dispatch by MAILTO: to the email address for orders
If you liked to use no CGI script, the simple MAILTO ORDER can be set alternatively. However, here is to be paid attention that older browsers do not understand dispatching of forms by mailto order. Besides, the possibilities of the text formatting are limited here.

Most providers offer a so-called CGI catalogue to your customers. In this case you can use the provided mail script "gsorder.pl". You find the script in the installation path of the GS ShopBuilder.You must give the server path of the script then in the appropriate text field of the GS ShopBuilder Per z. B. /cgi-bin/gsorder.pl

By the installation of CGI scripts still is to be paid attention following: transfer first the script file in the ASCII procedure (e.g., with WS_FTP in the CGI catalogue of your server).
Because most web servers on Unix-Betriebssytemen run, afterwards the access rights must be defined for this file. With the order chmod (UNIX) you activate for Owner the accesses to Read, Write, Execute as well as for Group and Other only on Read and Execute.
Test yourselves whether your on-line orders reach you now by email. Otherwise changes would still have to be executed in the script themselves. Ask moreover your provider.
Order side - options
Here you Can click of the control small box decide whether you liked to admit an address of delivery divergent from the given address of your customer. With activation another text field is integrated on the purchase order form side, while then your customer can put down the divergent address of delivery.
Besides you find a check box, around the putting of special character in the article number and article designation from or to overgoing. We recommend the activation of this check box. This option is available to you only in the GS ShopBuilder Pro.
As far as you would like to admit special character in the article number and designation, risk that possibly mistakes can appear with the order occurrence or by the dispatch of the Shopbestellungen by email.
