Payment Options

Under file / settings / payment options you can give the payment kinds (e.g., cash on delivery, prebox office etc) which you would like to accept freely.   

Payment Options:
Here you find a table with the columns "payment options" and " Indicated as ".     

To the definition of the payment kinds wished by you you click with the right mouse key on the white table column. Now from the context menu you can choose among other things between cash on delivery, debit, bill, credit card, cash in advance or other.  

Now the appropriate payment kind is put down in the column "payment options".  However, they themselves can choose the text for this payment options freely, while you these now in the appropriate line in the right table column under " Indicated as a " registration.

The payment options fixed here appear in your Onlineshop as a craft box or drop Down menu. Before your customer can fill out the purchase order form, he is asked to select the wished payment option. If your customer now as a payment option selects debit or credit card, the additional, necessary input fields appear in the purchase order form. Furthermore you have to define the possibility for these input fields other text. Moreover you find in the Content pool the Keywords "credit card" and "debit".   

For every payment kind you can give either a fee or a discount. The discount for the payment kind is drawn off from the total amount exclusive of the forwarding expenses.  

You can assign the payment options in the other to different national zones. You had fixed these national zones previously under file / settings / national zones.    

The national zones appear in your Onlineshop also as a craft box or drop Down menu. Your customer must also choose the national zone first, before he can fill out the purchase order form.

In the text field text for fee or discount payment options you can deposit for your customers other information.

If you offer the payment by credit card or debit, it is advisable that in this case the data are transferred encoded. For this you need a SSL certificate which can be established by your provider. In to this case should use you also not our pre-installed script on the gs-shopbuilder server (see file / to settings / order side), but inquire with your provider after an appropriate coding procedure for the email dispatch.

Alternatively we offer you the possibility to use our dynamic PHP extensions. In this case the sensitive data e.g. of the information are put down to the credit card and debit exclusively in the data bank on your web server encoded. I.e., this information is not sent unencoded by email.
