Install GS ShopBuilder

Attention: Newer Versions of GS ShopBuilders runs on principle not with Templates from older Versions. You can not simply assume a Template from older Versions (GS ShopBuilder 1, 2, 3 or 4) for the GS ShopBuilder 5 !

In  our Download area you can download  a Demoversion of the GS ShopBuilder .

To enter the Download area , you need a Registration .

For this, fill out a form with your Address datas. If your registration was successfully, you become the access data to the Download area per Email.

Now you can download the Demoversion direct as a compressed Folder from the Internet.

Decompress this file on your local Harddisk. Now a new folder was createt (for example "setup_GS_ShopBuilder_Pro"on your HDD. In this folder you can find the setup.exe to Install the GS ShopBuilder.

Start this application  Setup.exe with a Doubleclick. The  Installation of the GS ShopBuilder is startet.

Click by the installationshield . You are called upon to accept the Software agreements from GS Software AG .

When you manually not pretend another Folder, the Installation of GS ShopBuilder  effected  standartly to  C:\Programs\GS Software AG\GS ShopBuilder Pro 5 .

GS ShopBuilder repeated install

Click by the installationshield . When you have allredy installed GS ShopBuilder 5 on your Harddrive,  on first you must remove the old installation.

Choose for this "Program remove" and click on "Next" . After deinstallation execute the setup.exe again and repeat the normaly installation..

NOTE: when you wish to use the datas from your old installation, create first an  catalogue data backup in your GS ShopBuilder and to collateral security a complete Backup from your  present GS ShopBuilder Installation (for example on CD or another Harddisc ).

The catalogue data backup you can afterwards  import again (File/ import catalogue data backup / import from catalogue data backup).

Start f rom the local Harddisc
You can start GS ShopBuilder Pro from the Windows Start-Menü, with a Doubleclick on the Desktop Icons, or or a doubleclick on the SB5 Icon in the installation folder.

GSSBPro.exe is in the installation Folder where you have named by first installation (for example: C:\Programs\GS SoftwareAG\GSSBPro).

When you start the non registrated Demoversion you can choose between DEMOMODUS or you now wish an registration.
